<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety in case of pinching a foreign matter at each part of an apparatus driven by a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The DC motor 37 shifts an operation unit 20 between its open position and its close position under the control of a control unit 51. The control unit 51 judges whether the shifting of the operation unit 20 by the motor is impeded by external force or not. Then, the control unit 51 controls the DC motor 37 so that the operation unit 20 may move by a specified distance in the direction from its close position to its open position prior to a stoppage in case that it judges that the shifting of the operation unit 20 from its open position to its close position is impeded by external force, while it controls the DC motor 37 so that the operation unit 20 may move by a specified distance in the direction from its open position to its close position prior to a stoppage in case that it judges that the shifting of the operation unit 20 from its close position to its open position is impeded by external force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
