PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which is free from embedding of inorganic fine particles added as an external additive, into the toner, and free from detaching from the toner surface, and which does not cause degradation in developing property (increase in fog), cleaning failure, decrease in transfer efficiency, and degradation in fluidity, even for prolonged use. SOLUTION: The toner comprises color particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, and an external additive. The external additive contains at least three kinds of external additives which are: (A) titanium oxide fine particles or alumina fine particles subjected to the surface treatment with at least silicone oil or silicone varnish; (B) aspheric inorganic fine particles having 50 to 300 nm major axial diameter and 15 to 200 nm minor axial diameter on the toner surface and 1.2 to 5.0 aspect ratio (major axial diameter/minor axial diameter); and (C) inorganic fine particles subjected to the surface treatment with a silane compound or coupling agent.
