PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in depositing of an ink by a nozzle hole of which the inner diameter of the nozzle hole is gradually changed and to suppress variation in diameters of ink ejection nozzles due to an amount of a removed part of a surface of a substrate. SOLUTION: In this nozzle plate, by using a punch 51 having a tapered section 51a in a cone trapezoidal shape, a cylinder section 51b and a curved face section 51c coupling the tapered section 51a with the cylinder section 51b, a tapered hole section 8a, a cylindrical hole section 8b and a curved face hole section 8c coupling the tapered hole section 8a with the cylindrical hole section 8b respectively corresponding to the tapered section 51a, the cylinder section 51b and the curved face section 51c are formed on a substrate 50. A part of the surface of the substrate 50 having at least the cylindrical hole section 8b formed thereon is removed, and then the nozzle hole 8 is formed of the tapered hole section 8a and the curved face hole section 8c.
