Switching device comprises a switching bearing (9) containing a switching bed (13) and for receiving a switch (10) connected to the bearing. The connection is structured so that the non-moving end of the switch is screwed to the bearing through the switching foot (22). An independent claim is also included for a switch. Preferred Features: The switch bearing is produced from a block having a bainite structure and a quality of 1200 N/mm2>. The switch bed is cut from the block so that the switch is able to move on the sliding surface (14) of the switching bed.
