FIELD: processes for evaluating operational parameters of abrasive tool on flexible base, possibly evaluation of cutting properties of experimental tool relative to reference one for selecting tool with optimal characteristics. ^ SUBSTANCE: method is realized due to comparison of parameters of tested and reference tools. In order to realize such comparison, method comprises steps of preparing ground samples; preparing samples of tested and reference tools; before such preparation placing tool in conditioning chamber for 24 hours; grinding sample by means of tested tool for one minute, weighing it and measuring roughness degree; repeating grinding process four times and successively registering mass values of ground sample; then repeating the same procedure at using reference tool; performing grinding with use of three samples of tested tool and three samples of reference tool; processing data received for tested and reference tools; calculating percentage relation of total volume of taken-off material of tested tool to that of reference tool. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of received information, possibility for predicting operational parameters of tool. ^ 5 cl |
