The clockwork has a tourbillon mechanism supporting a balance (2) equipped with a balance-carrying support unit rotatively mounted on a main support unit (12). The mechanism rotates around a rotation axis (20) forming an angle with a rotation axis (23) of mobiles of driving gear train (22). The balance-carrying support unit rotates around a rotation axis that is not coaxial or parallel to a rotation axis (25) of the balance. An independent claim is also included for a clock piece comprising a clockwork.
