ROTARY DAMPER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary damper having lower manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The rotary damper comprises a partition wall portion 3 for partitioning a space into a rotor 2 and a housing 1 housing it to form a fluid chamber to be filled with fluid and a vane 4 provided in the fluid chamber. The housing 1 and the partition wall portion 3 are integrally formed with pressing work. According to this invention, a product has a lighter weight and greatly lower manufacturing cost than conventional one which is formed in a zinc die-casting method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
