<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the effective power-saving in an IP telephone system in which an IP network is constructed by using a general hub. <P>SOLUTION: Each of IP telephone terminals is provided with a means for shifting to a normal mode for feeding power to all of the parts in any one of the cases when a power mode switching packet is received through an interface means in a power-saving mode, when key operation input is detected with a key operation detecting means, or when the elapse of a prescribed time is detected with a timer means after being shifted to the power-saving mode. At least, when it is shifted to the normal mode on the basis of the detection with the timer means, an IP telephone control server is informed that the IP telephone terminal is connected. The IP telephone control server device informs the IP telephone terminal as a destination of the incoming call received through the IP network of the arrival of the incoming call after transmitting the power mode switching packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
