PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an image using detecting signals of vibro-sound formed by reflectedly propagating the vibro-sound generated in a subject from a reflection body in the subject, in an ultrasonic transceiver. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic transceiver is provided with transmitting elements 11 and 12 transmitting ultrasonic wave to the subject according to a plurality of impressed drive signals; synthesizers 21 and 22 generating the plurality of drive signals to be impressed to the transmitting elements 11 and 21 respectively; a system control part 41 transmitting the ultrasonic wave having frequency f<SB>1</SB>from the transmitting element 11 toward an area in the subject and controlling the synthesizers 21 and 22 to transmit the ultrasonic wave having frequency f<SB>2</SB>from the transmitting element 12; a plurality of receiving parts 15a and 15c receiving the vibro-sound generated in the subject and outputting a plurality of detecting signals respectively; and a correlation part 45 and a reflected position estimating arithmetic part 46 computing a plurality of detecting signals output from the receiving parts 15a-15c respectively and generating information related to the reflection area in the subject reflecting the received vibro-sound.
