PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the easiness of operating an enlarged display image in an image display system provided with a display having a coordinate input means.

SOLUTION: In the image display system provided with an information processor (100) for processing image data and outputting an image signal and an image display device (200) for inputting the image signal and displaying an image, the image display device (200) is provided with: an enlarged display processing means (203) for enlarging and displaying an image; an on-screen display generation means (211) for generating an optional image; and a coordinate input means (204) for inputting positional information by pointing on a display screen. A scroll bar generated by the on-screen display generation means (211) is displayed on the screen enlarged and displayed by the enlarging display processing means (203) so as to be superposed, and the scroll bar can be operated on the basis of an input from the coordinate input means (204).
