PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion die capable of extruding a wire having no process trace in a circumferential direction on the surface thereof.SOLUTION: An extrusion die 1 includes a process trace 1a' on an internal face of a die hole 1a along an extrusion direction, and an exit edge not having R processing. A method for manufacturing wire uses an extrusion die 1 including a process trace on an internal face of a hole 1a of the extrusion die of an extruder along an extrusion direction, and extrudes ingot of a wire material in an extrusion condition of a heater temperature of 250-293°C and a pressure of 6.5-9.0 MPa. |
