PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire mounting transponder which is freely mounted even on an existing tire, and capable of preventing troubles of a transponder itself and an antenna connected to the transponder caused by the external force such as deformation of the tire, a method for mounting the same, and a tire with a transponder mounted thereon. SOLUTION: A transponder 1 in which a strip adhesive part 1B of elasticity and heat insulation is provided on a transponder body 1A, and antennas 11 and 16 with at least a part thereof formed spiral or corrugated embedded in the adhesive part are adhered to an inner circumferential surface of a pneumatic tire 3 via the adhesive part 1B. The transponder 1 is easily mounted on the existing tire 3 thereby, the impact from the tire 3 is absorbed by the adhesive part 1B, and occurrence of troubles of the transponder 1 itself is considerably reduced compared with a known transponder.
