<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily introduce exhaust gas into a suction passage through an exhaust gas passage without increasing the flow resistance of suction air in an exhaust gas recirculation device formed by connecting the exhaust gas passage 2 from the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine to an exhaust gas inlet 3 formed in the side face of the suction passage 1 in the internal combustion engine through a sealing gasket 4. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas recirculation device is formed such that a deflector 6 projected from the portion of the inner surface of the exhaust gas inlet on the suction air flow upstream side into the suction air passage is formed integrally with the sealing gasket 4, and the deflector is tilted in the diagonal inner direction toward the downstream side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
