PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlash removing structure of a throttle valve in an air quantity control device, capable of obtaining a freedom degree of position relationship between an intake passage or the throttle valve and a throttle shaft. SOLUTION: In this air quantity control device, an arm 32 for operation is mounted to the throttle shaft 30, and a core of an arm 40 for removing a backlash is mounted to a shaft 50 different from the throttle shaft 30. Accordingly, even if the position of the throttle shaft 30 with respect to the intake passage 20 or the throttle valve 24 is freely changed, a condition (1), "a roller 34 for operation mounted to the arm 32 for operation is engaged with a groove 38 of a guide member 36 all the time" and a condition (2), "a roller 42 for removing the backlash mounted to a tip of the arm 40 for removing the backlash contacts with an upper face of the guide member 36 all the time" can be satisfied.
