A digital signal processing device, a digital signal processor, and a digital signal processing method are provided to change digital broadcasting programs when a DVCR continuously plays the plural programs, and to perform a high-speed decoding process for video data and audio data in a receiver/demodulator when the data is inputted to the receiver/demodulator. A front section(1) inputs an RF signal transmitted from a down converter, and selects a transport stream corresponding to a desired channel. A demultiplexer(2) separates desired program MPEG video data, MPEG audio data, and supplementary data. A buffer memory(3) temporarily stores data inputted/outputted through the demultiplexer(2). An MPEG video decoder(4) decodes the separated video data. An MPEG audio decoder(5) decodes the separated audio data. An NTSC encoder(6) converts a decoded video signal into an NTSC-format video signal. A D/A converter(7) converts the output of the encoder(6) into an analog format. A D/A converter(8) converts the output of the decoder(5) into an analog format.
