<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel inlet port strainer capable of accurately detecting the height of oil level by preventing the flow of oil at the time of refueling from hitting on a float. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel inlet strainer supports the float 10 for an oil level gage, at a strainer main body 1 provided with a net portion 5 filtering impurities on a peripheral wall so as to vertically move along the strainer main body 1.
