IMAGE DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, DIGITAL CAMERA, EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT, RECORD MEDIUM, AND IMAGE DATA MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a process according to a prescribed purpose of use to a plurality of images recorded in a digital camera with other apparatus at once and collectively.

SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with a plurality of classification assigning keys to assign the purpose of use of a photographed image. A plurality of index files 20d corresponding to the classification assigning keys are made in an image memory of the digital camera to record the photographed image as an image file 20c. When either of the classification assigning keys is pressed during displaying the recorded image, a file name of the image being displayed is successively described in the index files 20d corresponding to the pressed classification assigning key. When the image file 20c is used in a personal computer or the like, the personal computer or the like read a plurality of the image files 20c described in it based on the index files 20d corresponding to a desirable use purpose, and conduct the process corresponding to the use purpose collectively.
