<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a radiation sound from an upper surface of an intake collector 1; and to uniformly introduce intake air to left and right collector parts 13 and 14. <P>SOLUTION: This intake device has a first collector part 13 and a second collector part 14 on both sides, as the intake collector 1 for a V-type 6-cylinder internal combustion engine, and has a communicating tube 51 opened and closed by an opening-closing valve 54 in a front end part. A branch part is arranged in an area between both collector parts 13 and 14, and its upper space is covered with a cover part 41, and becomes a volume chamber communicated with a central part of the communicating tube 51. The intake collector 1 is cast by being divided into two members of a collector body 11 and a collector cover 12, and an intake air inlet pipe 44 is cast in the collector cover 12 integrally with the cover part 41. The passage cross-sectional area of the intake air inlet pipe 44 gradually expands, and expands downward in an intake air branch part 45, to be connected to left and right throttle chambers 31 and 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
