PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which makes a payer feel highly interested in a game by raising the possibility of developing to an advance notice operation when the combination of picture patterns stopped is as predetermined even though the combination thereof presents no special role. SOLUTION: A main control board 100 has the function of a discriminating means for discriminating whether or not the combination of the picture patterns on spin reels 10a-10c to be displayed on a display part 42 matches the winning of a prize when the spin reels 10a-10c are stopped and the function of an advance notice means which transmits a signal having an effect that the advance notice operation is carried out using a light source 35, a speaker 230 or a group of backlights 220 to a sub control board 200 when the combination of the picture patterns shown on the display part 42 is determined to be not to match the winning of the prize by the determining means.
