PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold capable of manufacturing a small diameter long roller, a roller with arbitrary camber quantity or reverse camber quantity and a roller having an arbitrary shape. SOLUTION: An outer cylinder 1 has an integral cylindrical shape and an inner cylindrical mold 2 is fitted in the outer cylinder 1 while a core 5 is mounted between the outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylindrical mold 2 so as to provide a predetermined gap and the gap is filled with a resin to form a roller with a shaft. The inner cylindrical mold 2 is constituted of a plurality of mold pieces 20. The inner surface of each of the mold pieces 20 can be formed into an arbitrary shape such as a camber, taper, arcuate, parabola or straight shape in a connected state and there is no restriction in camber quantity or the like. Further, the number of the mold pieces 20 is arbitrary and can be increased without being restricted by an aspect ratio to be capable of making the roller long. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
