A perambulator (capable of assuming different configurations) comprises a body 1 of pliable material having on each side 4 sliding clasp fastener interlockable portions ABCE and AF (or alternatively hooks, buttons or ties (not shown)), which when interlocked by a clasp 10 support a pliable body bottom in a raised and folded condition, so that instead of accommodating a recumbent baby as in Fig. 1, the body accommodates either a semi-reclining baby as in Fig. 3 (not shown), or, by lowering one end of the body 1, a seated baby as in Fig. 5, a wall being provided on the body bottom, comprising at least three parts 11, 12 and 13 transversely articulated together. Folds 19 are formed in the portion 17 of the body side wall. The bottom may be connected (not shown) directly to the frame by links.
