<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-panel display device which can rotationally display an on-screen display by control of the case there is no instruction of a user and control of the case there is the instruction of the user. <P>SOLUTION: The flat-panel display device is equipped with an installation angle-of-rotation detecting means 10 which detects the installation angle of rotation of the display device, an angle-of-rotation instructing means 11 which inputs the angle-of-rotation instruction of an on-screen display region from the user, an angle-of-rotation determining means 12 which determines the angle of rotation of the on-screen display region based on the installation angle-of-rotation detection information outputted from the installation angle-of-rotation detecting means 10 and the angle-of-rotation instruction information of the on-screen display region from the user inputted from the angle-of-rotation instructing means 11, and a rotation control output means 13 which performs the rotation control of the on-screen display region based on the angle-of-rotation information determined in the angle-of-rotation determining means 12 and outputs the on-screen display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
