TIMING SYNCHRONIZING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a peak position is erroneously detected and a malfunction occurs in response to this erroneous detection when a peak value other than a correlative peak value desired to be obtained originally is detected because of the influence of noise or the like even except time alignment control in a timing synchronizing method with which the correlation of a received signal and a synchronizing word is found, a timing of the received signal is detected from a correlative peak position wherein the correlation becomes maximum, and a reception timing is obtained from the deviation between the detected timing and a reference timing.

SOLUTION: A change of the reception timing caused by time alignment control is detected from a time alignment quantity designation value for controlling a transmission timing and a timing for a terminal station to perform time alignment control, and the reception timing is changed on the basis of the detected change.
