<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an office automation desk which has its storage (drawer etc.) locked/unlocked in a positive and efficient manner, and issues a warning when irregular opening/closing of the storage occurs. <P>SOLUTION: An office automation desk system is formed of the office automation desk 1 equipped with a desk lock 3b of the storage 3a, an opening/closing detecting sensor 3c for the storage 3a, an ID card 2 in which an ID code certified beforehand is written, and a receiving device 5 provided for the office automation desk 1, for identifying a received ID code and setting/releasing the desk lock 3b of the storage 3a. The receiving device 5 determines whether or not a received signal corresponds with the ID code for the office automation desk 1, stored beforehand, and controls the setting/releasing of the desk lock 3b of the storage 3a, depending on the determination.
