A nitrogen oxide reducing device of a combustor and a method thereof are provided to minimize generation of nitrogen oxide by distributing heat between fuel and combustion gas and enlarging a combustion area. A turbulence diffusion burner(13) is installed to a wall of a combustor, and combustion air(11) and fuel(12) are injected to the turbulence diffusion burner. An opening part is formed at the side wall of the combustor, and a sound adding apparatus is mounted to the combustor to guide fluctuation of fluid density. The sound adding apparatus comprises an acoustic generator(1) generating sound wave, a frequency and amplitude controller(10) controlling frequency and amplitude of the acoustic generator, a horn(2) amplifying sound wave, a connecting pipe(3) connecting the horn to a curved tube(9), and the thermal insulating curved tube mounted to the connecting pipe and the opening part of the combustor by a flange to protect the acoustic generator against radiant heat by insulating radiant heat from flame in the combustor.
