PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tingeing method for pigeons used for events comprising tingeing pigeon bodies using a powder comprising a mixture of a common powdery chemical for pigeons for exterminating noxious insects such as bird lice or acarids with an existing powdery colorant harmless to human beings and beasts by making use of usual bathing of pigeons. SOLUTION: This tingeing method for pigeons used for events comprises firstly damping the body surface of the pigeon (1) such as a carrier pigeon or a fantail with water by spraying, spreading the powder (2) comprising the mixture of the chemical with powdery chalk in a mixing ratio of about 1:9 on the body surface, immediately making the pigeon bathe and drying the powder.
