PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for protecting birds from intruding into a veranda, etc., capable of reducing an oppressive sensation, while enabling the effective utilization of a handle part, and preventing the birds from intrusion by arranging string members extended in horizontal direction in an upper direction of the handle part by a prescribed pitch in up and down rows. SOLUTION: This device for protecting the birds from intruding into the veranda is provided by standing and supporting in a plurality of poles (10a, 10b) at the handle part (1) of the veranda, etc., by taking a prescribed distance as attachable and detachable, installing an engaging body (15) obtained by installing many hooks (17b, 19b) at the side of a thin and long tubular main bodies (18, 19) in its longitudinal direction by a prescribed pitch, fitting and supporting the engaging tubular body (15) with each of the poles (10a, 10b) as attachable and detachable and engaging string members (20) between the opposing hooks (17b, 19b) of each of the engaging tubular bodies (15) as capable of engaging and disengaging.
