In a process to fabricate a complex three-dimensional component from sheet metal with apertures at chosen points, the sheet metal is formed by a series of tools. At least one plane in the first-stage material form has an aperture. The sequence of tools includes bending, cutting and stamping. Also claimed is a commensurate set of tools.
