<p>Power generating units and compressor units are arranged in an air cell powe r plant (1,2,3). According to one aspect of the invention, a common network connection transformer (23) with power generating units and compressor units alternately connected thereto is provided. According to another aspect of th e invention, the power plant is divided up into the following: a power generation area (I) in which the power generating units are arranged; a connection and transformation area in which a network connection transformer (23) is arranged; a compressor area (III) in which the compressor units are arranged. Said areas are arranged in such a way that they are locally separa te from each other. The inventive power plants can be combined advantageously t o form modular power stations which are advantageously provided with common voltage rails (35, 36, 37) and media rails (13, 30).</p> |
