PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control device capable of quickly recovering exhaust emission control performance when exhaust emission control performance drops owing to tentative drop of catalytic converter temperature after completion of warming up. SOLUTION: This device is constructed to perform activation processing (change processing) for improving cleaning capacity of a catalytic converter provided in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine. Temperature of the catalytic converter is continuously monitored after completion of warming up of the catalytic converter.
