PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily bonding polyester film which has excellent adhesion to a vapor-deposited metal layer, accordingly shows excellent gas barrier property, water vapor barrier in particular after vapor deposition, and keeps the excellence in adhesion to a base film and the gas barrier property after a high temperature hot water treatment such as boiling, retort or the like, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The easily bonding polyester film has an easily bonding layer composed of a water soluble or water dispersible resin (A) and an amino resin (B) containing a triazine ring formed on at least one surface of the polyester film, and shows a ratio of the absorbance at 1540 cm<SP>-1</SP>to the absorbance at 1340 cm<SP>-1</SP>of not less than 0.010 by an ATR-IR method.
