<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction liquid which is best suited for inkjet recording using an aqueous pigment ink and makes available a high-definition image showing high image density; no bleeding; a formed clear-cut round dot; and less conspicuous feeling of granularity, even when a recording medium with insufficient ink absorbency is used, and an ink set and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording method, the reaction liquid containing a polyvalent metallic salt with a trivalent or higher polyvalent metallic ion and water is used, and further, the surface tension of the reaction liquid is made more significant than the mean value of the surface tension of the aqueous pigment ink to be used together with the reaction liquid. Thus it is possible to effectively prevent effects such as deviation of a dot forming position, deterioration of dot roundness, expansion of dot diameter and increase in the feeling of granularity from occurring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
