PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a shock-absorbing structure attached to a lower part of a floor body structure of a rolling stock, and absorbing shock at the time of collision. SOLUTION: The shock-absorbing structure 200 is provided with a square pillar body structure having length L<SB>1</SB>by joining four plate materials 210, 220, 230, 240 by welding and the like. A space 250 is formed inside of the square pillar body structure. In the inside space 250, reinforcing plate materials 260, 270 are welded. Pitch P1, P3 of an attaching portion from a structure end portion of the reinforcing plate materials 260, 270, or pitch P2 of the plate materials 260, 270 is properly selected.
