BIAXIALLY STRETCHED SATURATED POLYESTER-BASED FILM, ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS, LAMINATE AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the heat bonding of films of the same kind, a film to a metal foil or to a plastic film of a different kind at a temperature below the melting point.

SOLUTION: Since the surface of the biaxially stretched saturated polyester-based film (e.g. PET film) is low temperature plasma-treated with a low temperature plasma-treating apparatus 1, the compositional ratio X(O/C) of the number of oxygen atoms (O) to the number of carbon atoms (C) on the surface of the film is in the range of 2.5% to 20% and greater than the theoretical value. This enables heat bonding at 100°C to 200°C, which allows an easy production of laminates between the same kind of films, a film and a metal foil and different kinds of films.
