PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface structure of fair-faced concrete in which the water proofing effect is improved, the durability is maintained and also the antifouling effect is improved by excellently forming a film on the upper surface even when the content of a water repellent material in a permeable water proofing material is increased, and a method for finishing the surface . SOLUTION: A permeable water proofing material layer 2 containing about 25% alkyl alkoxy silane as the permeable water repellent material is formed on the surface 1a of the fair-faced concrete and a transparent self-cleaning layer 3 comprising titanium peroxide (TiO<SB>3</SB>) as a main ingredient and having high hydrophilicity is formed on the permeable water proofing material layer 2.
