Co-extruded food product comprises an outer shell made from meat and an inner filling, e.g. cheese or sauce. The outer shell is 80-93 % of the total product. The grain size of the meat is 2-6 mm. The filling is thixotropic, is stable to heat and is viscous at a temperature of 0[deg] C or less.
