PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric part box for an air conditioner capable of improving safety of switch operation and to provide the air conditioner. SOLUTION: This electric part box 43 for the air conditioner is provided with an electric part box main body 81 and a movable part 93. The electric part box main body 81 stores electric parts including a switch 94 inside it. The movable part 93 is provided in the electric part box main body 81 and can move to operate the switch 94 by applying force from the outside of the electric part box main body 81.
