<p>Transparent protective layer for a body includes at least one hard material, e.g. a crystalline metal oxide, an intermediate layer consisting of an amorphous temperature stable mixed oxide, i.e. one with at least two metal components, where the amorphous layer is obtained from an amorphous temperature stable mixed oxide between partial layers including a crystalline metal oxide hard layer (sic). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a body coated with the protective transparent layer; (2) a cooking bay (sic) coated with the protective transparent layer; (3) a process for preparation of the protective layer by a magnetron sputtering or PVD (sic) process.</p> |
