PURPOSE: A rapid cooling type heat exchanger is provided to reduce size and weight by increasing the cooling efficiency of a refrigerant condenser by maximizing a contact area between refrigerant tubes, cooling water and air. CONSTITUTION: A flat refrigerant tube has a plurality of refrigerant passages inside. Fins(20) are brazed between the flat refrigerant tube arranged in multi-steps. An inlet header(14) is installed at one side of the refrigerant tube for injecting a refrigerant into the refrigerant passages. An inlet refrigerant pipe(13) is installed to induce the refrigerant into the inlet header. An outlet header(16) is installed at the other side of the refrigerant tube for discharging the cooled refrigerant. An outlet refrigerant pipe(17) induces the refrigerant discharged from the outlet header. An auxiliary tank(30) is installed at the outlet refrigerant pipe for forming a closed space in predetermined size. A liquid pipe(18) is installed at the lower part of the auxiliary tank for discharging the refrigerant of which liquefaction is completed.
