<p>Sintered aluminium-copper alloy material containing aluminium oxide for parts subjected to rubbing friction. B7-. Comprises 3% Cu and 0.5-5% Al2O3, the balance, apart from impurities, being Al. The Al2O3 content is preferably 0.5-2% and it preferably has a grain size of no more than 0.07 micron. The porosity of the alloy is preferably 17-25%. In examples the alloys contain 0.5, 0.6 and 2% Al2O3 with 3% Cu, the balance being Al.</p> |
