PURPOSE: To provide a method for covering waste in landfill, the method for blocking leachate in the landfill, the leachate generated by retaining water and decomposition water of waste and rainwater flown into reclamation layer during reclamation period, and a movable blocking wall used in the method. CONSTITUTION: A method for covering waste in landfill comprises processes of: filling-up waste in any one block(3) in a plurality of divided blocks and sequentially filling up waste(35) into other blocks, wherein the process of filling up waste into respective blocks comprises a process of repeatedly performing the steps of: installing movable blocking walls(33) into the small blocks by dividing relevant block into small blocks having small area; filling-up waste into the small blocks divided by the movable blocking walls; dividingly installing other small blocks continued to the small blocks by moving the movable blocking walls that form the small blocks after completing waste reclamation into the small blocks; and filling-up waste into other small blocks(3a) divided by the movable blocking walls.
