UNATTENDED MONITORING SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME TO PHOTOGRAPH A MONITORING SPOT CORRECTLY

PURPOSE: An unattended monitoring system and a method for controlling the same are provided to photograph a monitoring spot correctly by preliminarily setting a plurality of monitoring spots that require special monitoring, grasping an absolute position of a camera and then controlling drive of the camera. CONSTITUTION: A camera body is fixed at the ceiling in a monitoring area. A server computer and a client computer receive a picture photographed by a camera(40) installed in the camera body. The camera includes a fan motor for driving a rotation structure, a tilting motor installed in the rotation structure so as to drive the camera and a position sensing part for sensing absolute positions of the fan motor and the tilting motor. The server computer includes a database for storing absolute position information of a plurality of monitoring spots that require monitoring and a controller for controlling the fan motor and the tilting motor so that a camera head can reach the monitoring spots according to a sensing result from the position sensing part.
