<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of feeding necessary power to a fixing device even when voltage of a power supply is insufficient. <P>SOLUTION: Charging is carried out to a condenser from a charger by power feeding from an AC power supply. A heater HT1 of the fixing device 121 is heated by feeding power thereto from the condenser. The heater HT2 is heated by feeding power thereto from the AC power supply and heats the fixing roll 201. The output voltage of the AC power source is detected and when the value is lower than a specified value which is set before hand, heating of the fixing member 201 is carried out by both of the heaters HT1 and HT2 when a digital copying machine is in a predetermined operating state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
