PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mower having such a construction that a longitudinal shaft-driven type blower interlockingly joined to a blade driving system is set above a cut grass discharging port on a deck and cut grass discharged via the port is forcedly conveyed via the blower and a duct into a grass collector, improved in handleability and storability through compactly constructing the unit of the blower and a blower driving mechanism. SOLUTION: The mower has the following construction and mechanism: In interlocking through a belt via an intermediate longitudinal shaft 36 a blade drive shaft 18a projected on the top surface of the deck 15 and a blade drive shaft 41 projected on the top surface of a blower case 31, the lower part of the intermediate longitudinal shaft 36 and the blade drive shaft 18a are interlocked with each other through a belt, and the upper part of the intermediate longitudinal shaft 36 and the blade drive shaft 41 are interlocked with each other through a belt; wherein the intermediate longitudinal shaft 36 is set at a corner turned inward of the machine body and sandwiched in between a discharge cylinder 31a rearwardly projected from the outer circumferential site of the blower case 31 and the blower case 31.
