PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent for improving productivity in real production of a coated film and forming a gas-barrier film with more improved gas-barrier performance. SOLUTION: The agent comprises a water-soluble polymer, one or more of hydrolysates of metal alkoxides and condensates of the hydrolysates and one or more of alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts.
