PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device where a cooling liquid in a cooling case in which a solid light source is fixed is forcibly convected by a blade member so as to efficiently cool the solid light source, whereby the luminance of the solid light source is enhanced and its performance is maintained over a long term. SOLUTION: The light source device 1 is equipped with an LED 11 which is a solid light source, a metallic base plate 21 on which the LED 11 is fixed, a cooling case 31 on which the base plate 21 is fixed and inside which the cooling liquid 90 is hermetically enclosed, and the blade member 51 provided so as to be driven inside the case 31.
