Installing stabilization column in the ground, by measuring rotation speed and feed rate of conveyor screw driven into ground

A rotating conveyor screw (12) is driven into the ground to form a cavity by displacing ground material. The conveyor screw then fills the cavity with a filler (17) from a container (16) through which the conveyor screw passes. After the screw reaches a desired column depth, while further filler is supplied, it is withdrawn. At least the rotation speed and the feed rate of the conveyor screw are measured. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for installing a stabilization column.
