<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a single interface converter for an IP network and an ISDN to communicate with a plurality of network terminating devices connected to the IP network. <P>SOLUTION: A TE side IP gateway (interface converter) 30 is provided with a configuration information table 60 that is stored with respective IP addresses of a plurality of NT side IP gateways (network terminating device) connected to the IP network 20 and identification numbers corresponding to the respective IP addresses, a layer 3 part 45 for converting an identification number included in a call setting message from the ISDN 10 into an IP address by referring to the configuration information table 60, and a call control part 47 using the IP address to perform call control with one IP gateway among the plurality of NT side IP gateways connected to the IP network 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
