<p>PURPOSE: Provided are an apparatus and a method for purifying highly concentrated stream water, that uses a polyethylene screen filter, on which pearlite is attached, as a biofilm in a bioreactor, and a biofilm filtration zone with a foamed polypropylene filter. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a sedimentation tank(1), a bioreactor(3) and a biofilm filtration zone(4), wherein the bioreactor(3) has a filter module being comprised of a plurality of stacked polyethylene screens(5) and pearlite attached between the polyethylene screens(5) for increasing porosity and specific surface area, and adopts a multi-step aeration that supplies air to lower front ends of each module, and wherein the biofilm filtration zone(4) is filled with foamed polypropylene filters(6) for physically filtrate wastewater.</p> |
