PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content receiving device enabling a user to efficiently select a content. SOLUTION: In the content receiving device 2, a communication processing part 23 receives a digest including a part of all or partial contents accumulated in the remote content transmitting device 1 and an address list including respective address positions of partial contents included in the digest. A reproduction part 25 reproduces the digest received by the communication processing part 23. A digest selective input part 26 outputs a predetermined signal by the user's operation. A content request processing part 22 receives the output signal from the content selective input part 26, and extracts the address positions of the partial contents which are reproduced at the time of receipt of the output signal from the address list received by the communication processing part 23. The communication processing part 23 further transmits a content delivery request including the address positions extracted by the content request processing part 22 to a digital network 3.
